2. Description of Service

Chroniq is a progress tracking app. The App allows you to record and manage:

3. Free and Paid Use

The App can be used free of charge and without registration. The free version includes:

Prices may vary by region and platform. The binding price is displayed in the respective App Store before purchase.

3.3 Subscription Management and Cancellation

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Cancellation is only possible through the respective store platform:

An active subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Billing is handled by the respective App Store.

3.4 Subscription Expiration

After a subscription expires or is canceled, all existing data is retained. The creation of new projects, categories, and entries is limited to the free version limits. Pro features (iCloud sync, CSV export) are no longer available.

5. Data Storage and Responsibility

Data stored in the App is the user's responsibility. The provider has no access to locally stored data and cannot recover it.

It is recommended to regularly create backups using the built-in backup feature. When the App is uninstalled, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

6. Availability

The provider strives to keep the App functional at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or force majeure events may lead to temporary restrictions.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is". The provider is not liable for:

8. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, including design, code, text, and graphics, belong to the provider. Use of the App grants the user a simple, non-transferable, revocable right of use for personal purposes.

9. Changes to These Terms

The provider reserves the right to amend these Terms as needed. In the event of material changes, the user will be notified within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available at chroniq.app/en/terms.html.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of their habitual residence additionally apply.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
